A free account saves your Family Reading Map, keeps the Free Shelf together and remembers where each reader left off. It takes an email address and nothing else.

What an account holds

• One adult email address, for signing in and for the readers you ask us to prepare.
• A household name you choose.
• Up to 8 reader profiles: a display name or initials, a band, and interests.

What it never holds

There is no field for any of these, so none can be stored: legal name, birth date, age in years, school, photograph, diagnosis, address, a child login.
