Who you are dealing with
The seller is 1544650 Alberta Ltd., operating as HummingRead, an Alberta corporation. HummingRead is its registered trade name. Our address for notices and our support address is hello@hummingread.com.
Payment for a membership is taken by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller of record for that transaction: it charges you, it collects and remits the tax that applies where you live, and it issues refunds. The reading service itself is provided by 1544650 Alberta Ltd., operating as HummingRead.
The membership
A Family membership is for one immediate household: the adults in the home and up to eight reader profiles. It renews until cancelled; you can cancel from your account before the renewal date and keep access to the end of the period paid for.
Your copy
Readers, worksheets and Quick Checks are licensed to your household for its own use, on screen or printed. Please don’t share files outside the household; a co-op or classroom licence is the right door for that.
Sources and rights
Stories are adapted from public-domain works. The adaptations, pictures and learning materials are HummingRead’s and are protected by copyright. Public-domain status is checked for the market each reader is sold in.
Corrections and withdrawals
A reader reported for an error or a concern is withdrawn while it is checked and returned when it is fixed. Your shelf shows the current state of every reader.
